Box Stingray Skin

Stingray skin on a miniature box — the exotic texture of galuchat at a jewellery-box scale. Real stingray skin with its pearl-like calcified surface is wrapped around this small box and sealed under lacquer. The distinctive central diamond of the skin — called the "eye" — is centred on the lid. A rare material, perfectly presented.
