Mastering the Elements
Craftsmanship is more than a skill — it’s a heritage, a discipline, and a lifelong journey of learning.
Since 1974, Eric and Thierry Stocker have dedicated their lives to mastering and preserving the traditional techniques of lacquer, gilding, and polychromy. Their knowledge is rooted in French heritage and enriched by decades of work in Cambodia, where they’ve trained hundreds of artisans.
Through hands-on teaching, experimentation, and deep respect for natural materials, this knowledge is passed on to the next generation — ensuring that ancient techniques evolve, yet never disappear.
This page is a tribute to that legacy — a space where we share the spirit of learning, the power of technique, and the beauty that comes from understanding every detail of the craft.
